

The woods have been fairly active over the last two days. There are lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers aound. Other warbler sightings have been of Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green (photo below), Nashville, Palm, Tennessee, Black & White, Chestnut-sided, and American Redstart. There have been a small number of raptors; Bald Eagle, Northern Harrier, Merlin, Kestrel, Red-tailed Hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Cooper's Hawks, and Northern Goshawk. A White-crowned Sparrow has been coming to the feeders. White-winged Crossbills continue to occur daily, but have only been seen high in flight recently.

Butterflies: Single Stripped Hairstreaks were seen yesterday and today(photo below). Today there was an Eastern Comma. Monarch, American Copper, and Northern Pearly-eye continue to be seen daily.
